Police surround home in search for Glasgow Village shooting suspect

GLASGOW VILLAGE, Mo. – Law enforcement is searching for a gunman following a shooting in a north St. Louis County municipality.

According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis County Police Department, officers responded to a call for a shooting just before 1:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Cameron Road, located in Glasgow Village.

Officers found an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, police believe the suspect may be inside a vacant residence on the same street. The department’s Tactical Operations Unit was called to assist in the event of a standoff.
