Woman shot in officer-involved shooting in St. Louis; no officers hurt

ST. LOUIS – A woman was shot in a reported officer-involved shooting Friday morning.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department says no officers were hurt amid gunfire.

The shooting was reported near West Iowa Avenue and Gasconade Street in south St. Louis.

A police source also tells FOX 2 that scene appears to be related to an investigation near a White Castle in north St. Louis County.

Police have not yet disclosed if any officers may have fired shots are were shot at amid the investigation. The condition of the woman shot is not clear as of 9:30 a.m.
