Woman found dead, burned in Baden neighborhood

ST. LOUIS – Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found burned.

According to a police spokesperson, the body was located on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 19, in the 1200 block of Switzer Avenue in the city’s Baden neighborhood.

District 6 police officers responded to a call around 8:30 p.m. and found the victim in a parking lot. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe the victim was in her 20s.
