ST. LOUIS – One mother is charged with parental kidnapping after taking a child from their custodial parent for four days, according to police.

29-year-old Aarin Stiles allegedly showed up to the North County Recreational Center Sunday without permission and took her 2-year-old child, refusing to return the child to the custodial parent.

Stiles was not supposed to have any contact with the 2-year-old due to failing to follow bond orders in a case where she was charged with child endangerment.

Police made several attempts to get Stiles to return the child, but she refused, according to a release. The child remained missing until Thursday.

Stiles is facing one charge of parental kidnapping. She is being held on a $250,000 cash-only bond.
