MANCHESTER, Mo. – Rapid flooding forced at least two cars underwater near Manchester Road and Old Sulphur Springs Road in St. Louis County.
FOX 2 viewer Andrea Hemann submitted video of her encounter Tuesday.
The video shows floodwater rise above a black car and dragging a silver car nearly halfway underwater. “That was insane,” says one person in the video.
Leading up to the flooding, some spots in the St. Louis metro saw as many as six inches of rain from Monday evening to early Tuesday afternoon. Several counties in Greater St. Louis, both in Missouri and Illinois, are also dealing with rising water levels.
