ST. LOUIS COUNTY – Victims of drunk driving and their families will gather for a special 5k fundraiser on Saturday called, ‘Walk like MADD’.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving is hosting its annual event at the Tremayne Shelter in Creve Coeur Park in Maryland Heights.
The walk is all about spreading awareness of the dangers of drunk driving, a problem the organization says is responsible for 31% of all car crash deaths.
Participants will hit the trail at 8:30 a.m., sharing stories and raising money to support MADD’s mission to prevent drunk driving and support those impacted.
