ST. LOUIS — The International Institute of St. Louis is in search of some volunteers. They will hold an orientation program this evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The institute says it’s preparing to welcome it’s largest amount of immigrants and refugees to the St. Louis region in nearly 30 years. In total, they’re expected to resettle more than 2,500 new arrivals this year.

They say, if you can’t volunteer, they’re also holding a donation drive on Saturday. In preparation, they’re looking for kitchen items, toiletries, feminine hygiene products and bedding.
