Vehicle flips, strikes car in south St. Louis; occupants flee

ST. LOUIS – Occupants left the scene after an SUV flipped and hit a parked vehicle in south St. Louis overnight Wednesday.

The crash happened around 4 a.m. in the 2500 block of Chippewa Street, near Nebraska Avenue.

Currently, little is known about the crash. According to the St. Louis Fire Department, the occupants of the SUV fled the scene, suspecting that the vehicle was likely stolen. The collision also caused damage to at least one parked vehicle.
