Union man sentenced for child pornography and sexual abuse

LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. – A 32-year-old man was sentenced Thursday to over 16 years in prison for possessing child pornography and sexually abusing two children.

In August, Kyle Mathew Bray admitted to using the app Telegram to receive and store child pornography, as well as join groups focused on children, according to a news release. He also admitted to sexually abusing a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old.

Bray was living in Lincoln County at the time he committed the crimes.

Bray was sentenced to prison for 199 months, or 16 and a half years. Upon release, he will be placed on supervised release for life.

He faces nine felony charges of statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy against a person less than 12-years-old and three charges of child molestation in the second degree against a child less than 12-years-old.
