ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – A Maryland Heights, Missouri, man is charged with allegedly soliciting sex from an undercover police detective posing as a child.
According to court documents, the crimes occurred between January 16 and January 30.
St. Charles County police and prosecutors claim Dennis M. Burjoski sent chat messages to someone he believed to be a 13-year-old girl but was really an undercover detective. Prosecutors did not specify which chat app Burjoski used.
During the conversation, Burjoski asked the girl to meet for the purpose of having sex. Burjoski was later arrested, though police did not specify where.
The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Burjoski with enticement or attempted enticement. Burjoski remains jailed on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
