ST. LOUIS – Officers with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating an overnight shooting that left two men injured in south city.
According to a police spokesperson, the shooting occurred just before 2:15 a.m. in the 2600 block of Caroline Street, located in The Gate District neighborhood.
Officers located two men, ages 31 and 46, suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.
Investigators learned the men were socializing with people when they heard gunshots and realized they’d been wounded.
