Transgender social media influencer to talk with SLU students

ST. LOUIS – It was announced last week that transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney will be visiting Saint Louis University Monday.

The Great Issues Committee at SLU posted a flyer on Instagram promoting the event. According to the post, Mulvaney will be talking with the audience and answering their questions.

The committee holds free events for the campus community to “spark dialogue, engage in critical thinking, and have fun.”

Mulvaney is a content creator across several social media platforms, most well known for the diary series on TikTok “Days of Girlhood.” She has nearly 12 million followers combined.

Her appearance at the university comes around a year after Anheuser-Busch and Mulvaney received backlash for their partnership.

Mulvaney will speak with students in the Wool Ballroom Monday at 7 p.m. According to the Great Issues Committee, the event is open only to those with a valid SLU ID.
