ST. LOUIS – Fans hoping to see Taylor Swift show up at the parade in Kansas City to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce will be disappointed. The pop-star just landed in Australia, according to a TMZ report. She got in around midnight, local time.

The Super Bowl parade to honor the Kansas City Chiefs after a Super Bowl win started at 11 a.m. There was speculation about Taylor Swift attending the parade amid her relationship with Travis Kelce, despite her upcoming concert in Melbourne.

Swift’s Eras Tour resumes in Melbourne on Friday, with the Kansas City parade timing and travel duration making her attendance unlikely. The flight to Australia from the United States took over 20 hours.

Swift’s Eras Tour picks back up in Melbourne, Australia, at 6 p.m. Friday. Australian Eastern Daylight Time is 17 hours ahead of Kansas City’s time zone. The parade in Kansas City will wrap up around 2 p.m., which is 7 a.m. Thursday in Melbourne’s time. The flight from Kansas City to Melbourne is 20-plus hours long. That would have her landing in Australia around 5 a.m. (Australian Eastern Daylight Time) Friday at the earliest.
