GRANITE CITY, Ill. – A late-night police standoff in Granite City ends peacefully.
The man wanted in a domestic disturbance surrendered. Police evacuated several homes near Benton Street Monday night as they dealt with the incident.
During that standoff, several streets were completely shut down to barricade the area.
