Summer hours returning to Saint Louis Zoo along with events

ST. LOUIS – As the sun stays out longer and the warmer weather returns, it also means that the Saint Louis Zoo is switching to its summer hours and bringing in more events for everyone.

Beginning May 24, the zoo will be open Sunday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, and Friday and Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Memorial Day weekend of Friday, May 24 to Monday, May 27 kicks off with hours of 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Every Friday during summer hours, guests can visit with $10 parking on zoo lots, $10 adventure passes and select combo meals for $10 at certain restaurants.

There is a lineup of conservation spotlights throughout the summer that highlight different species and how they live. Below is a list of the HullabaZoo events:

May 30: Armenian viper

June 13: Cheetah

June 27: Addax

July 11: American burying beetle

July 25: Grevy’s zebra

Aug. 8: Coquerel’s sifaka

Aug. 22: Northern cardinal
