MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO — The Clayton Police Department has charged a Hazelwood woman with forging her hours with her employer, a senior living facility in Maryland Heights, between July 1, 2021, and August 7, 2022.
Rochelle Kates has been charged with theft amounting to $141,130.52 and forgery. Kates worked for a medical staffing business located in Clayton and was assigned to a senior living facility in Maryland Heights.
Kates submitted timesheets to the business in Clayton, but she did not work any of the shifts listed on the timesheets. The timesheets were supposedly signed and initialed by supervisors at the facility, but those signatures were forged.
A court date is set for September 9.
