ST. LOUIS — In the midst of a St. Louis summer heatwave, it’s tough to be outside. But what about those working in a hot kitchen?

Milo’s on the Hill is a popular spot where people come to enjoy a cool drink and good food. Despite the heat, the restaurant’s kitchen is working hard with ovens at full blast.

Meanwhile, at The Bocce Garden, the hot weather keeps most people indoors, but a few brave souls are still out playing. They continue their evening bocce league throughout the summer, thanks to overhead shading and large fans that help keep them cool.
