ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The St. Louis County Council is considering using $20 million of the rams settlement money to repair major roads.
The county received nearly $170 million. Under the bipartisan proposal, $10 million would go to repair county roads and the other $10,000 would go to county-maintained subdivision streets in unincorporated areas. St. Louis City still has $250 million from the settlement.
They’re considering using it to fix water mains, raise city employees’ wages, and offer free or low-cost child care to residents.
