ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Authorities have issued an “Endangered Person Advisory” in the search for a boy reported missing Saturday out of St. Louis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that King Evans, 8, went missing Saturday morning. He is possibly with a suspect who allegedly stole a family member’s vehicle after an argument.

Evans was reported missing from a home in the 3600 block of Heather Trails around 10 a.m.

Investigators say a suspect, identified as Jarrett Hawthorne, 30, was visiting King and others at a family member’s home. After a verbal altercation, Hawthorne reportedly stole a family member’s vehicle and left with Evans.

The stolen vehicle is believed to be a brown 2013 Nissan Juke vehicle bearing a Missouri license plate numbered CX3Z5D.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Evans has epilepsy, and Hawthorne cannot administer the medication.

Anyone with relevant information on the whereabouts of King, Hawthorne or the stolen vehicle should contact their nearest law enforcement agency or the St. Louis County PD at 636-529-8210.
