St. Louis City 911 call responses improving

ST. LOUIS – As St. Louis City Police report a decrease in violent crime, the city says staff is handling 911 calls more quickly.

Records from City Hall show dispatchers answered 80% of 911 calls in ten seconds or less in November and December. Last year, it was only 50%.


Maverik says no more Kum & Go in 2025

It’s unclear how many calls the 911 center received. The city is still short of 16 dispatchers.
