ST. LOUIS – One of our region’s most well-known foods is St. Louis-style pizza. This style of pizza features the famous provel cheese—a blend of cheddar, Swiss, and provolone—along with a thin crust and is typically served in square slices rather than rectangles.
The popularity of this pizza style has even reached the attention of well-known comedians, such as Jim Gaffigan, Kevin Hart, and Ice Cube, all of whom have shared their thoughts on St. Louis pizza.
Now, this pizza style is available in frozen form. We reached out to our Facebook and Instagram followers to determine the best St. Louis-style frozen pizza. While responses predominantly favored Imo’s and Schnucks frozen pizzas, there were other notable favorites among pizza enthusiasts:
