ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Ameristar Casino Resort Spa announced on Wednesday that it will be expanding it’s convention center along with renovating its hotel and restaurants.
Ameristar revealed these plans, which triple the size of its current meeting and convention center in St. Charles County. The casino says the project will add 43,000 square feet to the event space by the fall of 2025.
Ameristar says with this expansion, it will become the largest hotel convention center in St. Charles County, including 400 all-suite hotel rooms and seven restaurants.
Alongside the expansion, the resort will undergo an upgrade to its 397 hotel rooms as the property plans to complete hotel renovations later this year.
Over the last two years, Ameristar has debuted several new amenities, including an upscale cafe and bakery named Copper Whisk and the first Roll-in and Out store in the region.
The casino says it plans to additionally reveal an upgraded VIP lounge experience in the coming weeks.
Ameristar is also in the process of replacing the Amerisports Bar & Grill with a gastropub and sports bar and rebranding its steakhouse by mid-2025, incorporating a modern twist into these future amenities.
