ST. LOUIS, Mo. — St. Louis made it to 97 on Sunday. Top temperatures in the 90s will stick around all week. The overnights won’t cool off much; wake-up temperatures are in the 70s.

While there aren’t technically any heat warnings or advisories, it’s a summer feel, and we need to take the summer precautions of staying cool, taking breaks from the sun, and staying hydrated.

Monday and Tuesday will bring the chance for some pop-up thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening. Not everyone will see rain and the chance for a storm will fade as the sun sets. The additional clouds and spot rain may bring temperatures down a tad but they won’t burst the heat bubble.
