ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Two men traded trash talk and eventually gunfire in Florissant, resulting in charges against one of the men.

According to the Florissant Police Department’s probable cause statement, the first shooting happened on Dec. 16, 2023, on Cedar Park Drive.

Police claim Andrew Davis and others fired several shots at the victim’s home and 2018 Land Rover. Officers later found 25 bullet holes in the house, four gunshots in the Land Rover, and 17 shell casings.

Prior to the shooting, police claim Davis posted a picture on his Instagram account of three people standing outside the victim’s home. The victim said he’d had ongoing problems with “Drew,” and the two men communicated on Instagram before and after the shooting.

Before the shooting, the victim gave Davis his address, police said. After the shooting, Davis allegedly told the victim, “bet (he) wouldn’t let his location drop again.”

Two months later, gunfire struck Davis’ house in the 700 block of Manresa Lane. Police searched the residence and found a Glock .40 caliber pistol that matched the shell casings found at the scene of the first shooting.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Davis with first-degree assault, first-degree property damage, three counts of armed criminal action, and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon. The judge set a $150,000 cash-only bond for Davis.
