ST. LOUIS — Friday’s storm is long gone but snow cover remains. Temperatures are quite cold this morning in the teens, with many areas experiencing single-digit wind chills. Due to the cold start and cold cover, temperatures will only climb into the upper 20s to around 30 today, about 15 degrees colder than normal.

We will have mostly sunny skies. It was clear and not quite as cold overnight, with lows dropping into the low to mid-20s. Sunshine continues and temperatures improve for Sunday. Highs return to the 40s, which is right about normal for this time of year. Past the weekend, we’ll have even better forecasts. For President’s Day on Monday, highs hit the mid-50s, with temperatures forecast in the 60s starting Tuesday. Our next chance of showers returns on Thursday.
