ST. LOUIS – Nurses at Saint Louis University Hospital voted overwhelmingly to ratify a new contract with SSM Health.

The National Nurses Organizing Committee/National Nurses United (NNOC/NNU) said the vote took place on Saturday and runs until July 27, 2027.

The new contract follows a string of failed negotiations that ultimately resulted in two worker strikes last year.

Union representatives said the contract includes payroll and healthcare increases, as well as safe staffing provisions and no contract takeaways.
