ST. LOUIS – If you’re a senior citizen in St. Louis City, you can now apply to freeze your property taxes.
Qualified seniors must apply for the tax credit each year before the June 30 deadline. Eligible applicants must be 62 years of age and older, live in St. Louis City, and have earned at least 40 social security credits.
You also must be the owner or have a legal interest in a home valued at $500,000 or less.
