Rally for teen accused in fight near Hazelwood East High School

CLAYTON, Mo. – A teenage girl involved in a fight near Hazelwood East High School that left another student severely injured is facing the possibility of being tried as an adult. The incident resulted in 16-year-old Kaylee Gain being hospitalized with a skull fracture and brain bleeding. She is now back home but continues to face significant health challenges, including another scheduled surgery, ongoing speech therapy, and short-term memory loss.

The girl accused in the altercation is facing assault charges. Today, a rally is taking place outside the St. Louis County Courthouse in support of the teen suspect.
