ST. LOUIS — Today will be quiet and cooler behind the strong system that brought us two rounds of severe weather on Thursday. Cloudy skies this morning, with temperatures ranging from the mid-40s north to mid-50s south. Afternoon highs will be relatively cool compared to the past few days but still technically above normal, in the upper 50s to near 60. We’ll have breezy northerly winds and the skies gradually clear from northwest to southeast this afternoon. Mostly clear and cool overnight, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Saturday will be the warmer of the weekend days, with sunshine and highs in the upper 60s. Another cold front comes through dry late Saturday and this sets us up for a cooler Sunday (St. Patrick’s Day) with highs in the low 50s, gusty winds, and mostly sunny skies.
