Proud to Serve: Garrett Sansoucie is a full-time nurse administrator who also serves in the Army National Guard

ST. LOUIS – Each month on FOX 2, we select the recipient of our Proud to Serve award.  Today, we salute Garrett Sansoucie who followed in his mother’s footsteps, went to nursing school and upon graduating, enlisted in the Army National Guard. Garrett is a BSN, currently completing his master’s in nursing.  He works full time in Quality Control at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital, a very specialized hospital that provides very specialized therapies and internal medicine protocols for pediatric patients in St. Louis.  Garrett spends one weekend a month in the Army National Guard where he has earned the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.  He said the camaraderie is his favorite aspect of serving in the Army National Guard.

Garrett was nominated by his mom, a longtime nurse in St. Louis:

Garrett is a Nurse in Quality Control. He works Monday-Friday. He has a BSN in Nursing and is also getting his Masters Degree. He is also a soldier in the Army National Guard.  He is a 2nd Lieutenant. He deserves recognition for his hard work and the work he continues to do.
