TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. – Schnucks Markets Inc. has recalled several bone-in pork products sold at its Town and Country location.
In a news release, Schnucks is recalling the following 10 products sold at its store at 1060 Woods Mill Road:
Pork loin rib chops
Pork loin rib chops thick
Loin pork chops thick cut
Pork loin assorted chops
Pork steaks center cut
Boston pork roast boneless rolled
Butcher bundle pork steaks center cut
Pork steaks value pack
Boneless pork steak value pack
Pork steak center cut (sold from the meat showcase)
The products are being recalled as a precaution due to an equipment failure, according to a Schnucks spokesperson.
Customers who purchased the bone-in pork products on Sunday, August 11, can return the product to the Woods Mill Road store for a full refund or exchange.
The spokesperson said this is an isolated incident and there have been no reported illnesses or injuries thus far. Customers can call the Schnucks Customer Care Team at 314-994-4400 or 800-264-4400 with questions about the recall.
