ST. LOUIS – A law enforcement officer fired shots during an incident Friday afternoon in north St. Louis, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
SLMPD commanders and force detectives are responding to the 5100 block of Ridge Avenue in St. Louis’ Academy/Sherman Park neighborhood.
It’s unclear what led up to the shots fired at this time. No injuries have been reported as of 2:40 p.m. Friday.
