Police seek two more suspects in Carr Square shooting

ST. LOUIS — Two men are in critical condition following a shootout in the Carr Square neighborhood of St. Louis on September 5, 2024. Police are now looking for two additional suspects in connection with the incident.

The shooting occurred shortly after 4 p.m. in the 1000 block of Selby Place. Investigators say a 51-year-old man and a 46-year-old man got into an argument that turned physical. Both men reportedly drew their guns and shot at each other, resulting in injuries to both parties.

The 46-year-old man was taken to a hospital by ambulance. He was later deemed fit for confinement and released into police custody. The 51-year-old man was privately conveyed to a hospital and remains in critical condition.

Detectives released images of two additional subjects today identified as being involved in the shooting. Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information regarding these individuals.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Law enforcement officials encourage anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers anonymously at 866-371-TIPS (8477). Tips leading to arrests may be eligible for a reward.
