ST. LOUIS – Investigators with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating two men who assaulted an elderly security guard at a Midtown apartment building.
According to police spokeswoman Evita Caldwell, the attack happened on January 27 at The Icon, located on South Grand Boulevard, near Saint Louis University.
Police claim the men assaulted the guard and tried to steal his firearm.
The suspects fled in a maroon Chevrolet Cruze after the attack.
Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the individuals is asked to contact CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS. Tipsters will remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward.
