CAHOKIA, Ill. – Emergency crews are responding to a fatal crash on Interstate 255 on Tuesday morning.
Our Nissan Rogue Runner reporter, Nic Lopez, captured footage of the scene located at I-255 southbound near McBride Road, where at least one person has been confirmed dead in a crash between two vehicles. Illinois State Police are currently rerouting traffic off I-255 onto Illinois 157.
So far, the cause of the crash is still and unknown and no further injuries have been revealed. FOX 2 will update this story with more information as it becomes available.
