ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced overnight closures of the Compton Avenue bridge over Interstate 64 and Forest Park Avenue. These closures are part of a bridge maintenance project to apply a protective overlay to the bridge surface.
The closures will occur on two separate weeks:
September 24-26 (Tuesday through Thursday)
October 1-4 (Tuesday through Friday)
Each night, the bridge will close at 8:30 p.m. and reopen by 5:30 a.m. the following morning, weather permitting. Drivers using Compton Avenue to cross I-64 during these overnight hours will need to use alternate routes.
