Officer struck after conducting traffic stop in Chesterfield

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A police officer was struck while conducting a traffic stop in Chesterfield Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, the officer was inside the patrol vehicle at the time of the accident.

The officer was transported to the hospital after the crash. There is no information on the injuries the officer sustained from the accident.
