O’Fallon, Missouri man accused of stealing ex-wife’s pension

ST. LOUIS – An arrest warrant was issued last Friday for an O’Fallon, Missouri, man accused of stealing his ex-wife’s pension.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statement, the crime took place on Feb. 8, 2022, at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #1 on Elizabeth Avenue in The Hill.

Police claim Bryan L. Williams, 43, forged his ex-wife’s signature on a transfer form and took that form to IBEW Local #1, where he was able to transfer ownership of her pension benefits to him.

The pension benefits were worth $138,966.32.

The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office charged Williams with forgery and stealing – $25,000 or more. Upon arrest, Williams will be jailed without bond.
