New bills proposed to establish ‘Impacted Tenant Fund’ and rental registry

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Aldermen will introduce two new bills dealing with rental properties.

One would set up an ‘Impacted Tenants Fund’ to protect people forced to move out because the city condemned the rental property. Another bill would establish a mandatory registration process for residential units.


Highway with ‘Loneliest Road in America’ also runs through St. Louis region

The rental registry would be run through the city’s housing conservation program.
