MADISON COUNTY, Ill. – A motorcyclist died Wednesday from an overnight crash in Madison County, authorities say.
The Madison County Coroner’s Office reports that Dylan Hardin Stanley, 22, of Millstadt, Illinois, died in the crash.
Investigators say Stanley was heading southbound on a frontage road parallel to Interstate 55 before he crashed into a median. No one else was involved in the collision.
Stanley was pronounced deceased around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. The coroner’s office reports that Stanley’s preliminary cause of death is blunt head and chest trauma.
Illinois State Police and the Madison County Coroner’s Office are leading the investigation into the crash.
