ST. LOUIS – Drivers who travel to and from downtown St. Louis on eastbound Interstate 64 will have to seek alternate routes next week, as the Missouri Department of Transportation will close a ramp for a few weeks.

According to a MoDOT spokesperson, work crews will close the 14th Street ramp (Exit 39A) from eastbound Interstate 64 in the city of St. Louis. Drivers should be aware that the ramp will close for three weeks, beginning Monday, February 26, after the morning rush hour.

Check FOX 2’s traffic map for real-time updates.

Crews will be replacing the signal at the base of the ramp, which is located south of the Enterprise Center. This will affect Blues fans driving eastbound to attend home games or people coming downtown for other events.

MoDOT says drivers can use the left-side ramp from eastbound I-64 to 11th Street (Exit 39B) to enter downtown.

As always, this work is weather-permitting.
