WENTZVILLE, MO – A Missouri lottery player won a $70,000 jackpot by playing the Show Me Cash game ticket purchased at Save A Lot, located at 715 W. Pearce Blvd. in Wentzville.

The winner said that they occasionally buy Show Me Cash tickets when they shop at the grocery store. This time, the Quick Pick ticket they purchased for the June 13 drawing matched all five winning numbers – 7, 17, 19, 26, and 35.

“I walked around for like three weeks with the ticket in my pocket,” the winner said. “To me, it’s fun, and I didn’t check it.”

Show Me Cash is an in-state Draw Game drawn daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots starting at $50,000 and growing until won. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $111,000.

State-run games typically favor the house, ensuring profitability for the organizers. Various lottery games have different rules, odds, and prize structures, which influence the likelihood of winning.

Typically, the chances of winning a prize, even if it’s a small one, are better than the odds of hitting the jackpot.
