Missing woman with dementia may be headed to former Florissant home, police say

GAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Police in Cape Girardeau suspect a missing woman with dementia may be headed to her former residence in the St. Louis area.

The Cape Girardeau Police Department issued an Endangered Silver Advisory Alert on Wednesday for Jean C. Shoen.

Schoen, 78, was reported missing around 11:45 a.m. She was last seen leaving her home in the 1800 block of Randol Avenue and driving away in a green 2011 Kia Soul with Missouri license plate CX6S8P.

Authorities believe she may be traveling to her old residence in the 300 block Moule Drive in Florissant.

Schoen is 5’0” tall and weighs 102 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Schoen’s whereabouts should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Cape Girardeau Police Department at 573-335-6621.
