Mild weather and spotty showers expected in St. Louis region

ST. LOUIS — We have a few showers south of I-70 that should dissipate as they continue to move eastward. After these showers come to an end, today will be mostly dry, with mostly cloudy skies and comfortable temperatures in the lower 80s. There’s a chance of a few more spotty showers or thundershowers this afternoon/evening but the majority of the region stays dry.

Overnight looks quiet, with lows in the 60s. Monday through Wednesday, we still have daily spot storm chances through the afternoon hours. On Monday, we’ll see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies through much of the day, with spot-storm chances increasing mid-afternoon.

Highs will be a bit warmer, as will humidity, but they will still remain below normal in the mid-80s. Tuesday and Wednesday will be similar, with temperatures increasing a bit each day.

Late this week, a cold front may stall across our region, which would keep rain chances in the forecast along the front, but the location as to where that front may stall is still in question. If it stalls to our north, rain chances for our region will be low from Thursday onward. If it stalls across our region, we’ll have to increase those chances for late this week.
