MetroLink train strikes person near Grand Station

ST. LOUIS — A MetroLink train struck a person on Monday morning, causing delays on the light rail system. Metro says that trains were not running between the Civic Center and Central West End stations.

The trains are moving again. The train involved in the incident with a pedestrian left the Grand Station at around 10:25 a.m. Riders may experience some minor delays.

The victim’s condition is not known at this time. This is a developing story. More information will be posted here as it comes into the FOX 2 newsroom.
