BALLWIN, Mo. – The St. Louis County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identities of two people found dead last month inside their Ballwin home.

On January 30, a mail carrier noticed mail piling up in a mailbox in the 400 block of Sunnyslope Drive and contacted police to request a welfare check. Ballwin police entered the home, located just two miles from the police department, and discovered the decomposing bodies of a woman and a man.

Police said the bodies had been in the home for a while.
