ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department District 4 officers responded to a call for a robbery at the Mobile Gas Station located on North Grand around 9:45 p.m. on Friday, October 4.

A 26-year-old man told officers he was inside of his car at a gas pump when a man with a gun got into the passenger seat. The man struck the 26-year-old in the head with the gun and demanded the keys to his car, a Chevrolet Equinox.

The man took the keys and left the area.

The 26-year-old man then told officers that he was still at the gas pump when about 30 minutes later a different person with a gun, possibly a juvenile male, ordered him out of the car. The man with the gun began to driver away.

The 26-year-old man held onto the back of his car and was dragged across the gas station lot.

While this was happening, a mini-van was driving north on Grand when someone inside the van started shooting at the 26-year-old man. The man was not shot but did let go of the car and fell to the ground.

Both the Equinox and mini-van were seen driving west on Natural Bridge, away from the gas station.

The investigation is ongoing.
