Man in wheelchair held at gunpoint in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating after a man claims he was held at gunpoint in his wheelchair before it was stolen.

St. Louis Metropolitan Police were called to North Sarah Street in the Vandeventer Neighborhood on Friday.

They say the victim reported two armed suspects demanded money and his electric wheelchair. After taking the wheelchair, the suspects took off in a car.

The victim was not hurt.
