Man certified to stand trial as an adult for Kiener Plaza murder of skateboarder

ST. LOUIS – The teenager accused of killing a skateboarder in Kiener Plaza last year has been charged as an adult with first-degree murder.

18-year-old Alphonso Miller Jr. was 17 when he was arrested for killing Darrius Mullins. The police said that the murder was gang-motivated.

Miller is also charged with armed criminal action and participating in a criminal street gang.
