Major Case Squad seeks pickup truck in Iron County homicide

IRON COUNTY, Mo. – The Mineral Area Major Case Squad has been activated in an Iron County homicide investigation. Authorities are searching for a pickup truck described as a “vehicle of interest” in the case.

Deputies with the Iron County Sheriff’s Office found a 65-year-old man deceased Thursday evening after a call for service. The victim was found deceased at a home in the 60 block of Wild Turkey Road in unincorporated Iron County.

Investigators ruled the victim’s death a homicide, but have not disclosed any information about the victim’s identity or a possible cause of death.

The Major Case Squad is searching for one vehicle of interest, believed to be a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado. The vehicle uses a Missouri license plate bearing 0PD-Y90. The vehicle was described as grey and black, two-tone with a red pin stripe and duct tape on the right rear window.
